Robert Doeland
President & Executive Director
Robert Doeland is TKDFC Founder, President and Executive Director. He provides an expert level of player development from his global soccer experience and upbringing in the Dutch player development system. He climbed the ladder in Holland, where he played professionally for 1st division side H.F.C Haarlem in the Dutch Eerste Divisie. After coming to the United States, he continued his playing career as a number one goalkeeper with Sonoma County Sol and Napa 1839.
Well known as a top goalkeeper and coach, Coach Doeland served as the goalkeeper coach at Dominican University from 2016-2018 & Holy Names University from 2021 till 2023. In his time coaching in Northern California he has worked with many top youth clubs and players in the bay area, including NorCal PDP, Marin FC, Napa United, Solano Surf and Vacaville United. He has gotten to know the US youth system through this process as a head coach, goalkeeper trainer, and goalkeeping director, prior to launching TKDFC.
Along with his own coaching duties and club responsibilities, Coach Doeland also provides coaching education for diverse soccer organizations in the Bay-Area, focusing on the foundation how to build a successful soccer organization from the grassroots up to the U-19 level. Doeland holds his USSF C License and is currently pursuing his USSF B License.
Jason Sisneros
Vice President & Director of Operations
Jason Sisneros serves as TKDFC Vice President and Director of Operations. He has extensive playing, coaching and directorship experience. He has coached youth, middle school, high school and college soccer. Some of his accolades include coaching for the 22-time National Champion women's soccer program at the University of North Carolina. In his five seasons at Carolina, (2012-2016), Coach Sisneros served as Director of Match Analysis, Assistant Coach, and Assistant Recruiting Coordinator. During this time, the Tar Heels won the 2012 NCAA National Championship, 2013 ACC Conference Championship, 2016 ACC Tournament Championship and made a record setting 27th appearance in the 2016 College Cup.
In his time at UNC Jason coached the UNC Men's Club Soccer team in the Southeast Club Regional Championship Tournament and founded the fifth division semi-professional men's soccer club, Triangle Brigade FC. Within the club's first season, Jason led the team to a U.S. Open Cup qualification after winning the oldest organized soccer tournament in the United States, the Werner Fricker Cup and a #3 National Ranking among all US Men's Amateur soccer teams.
Jason is the founder of Rising Star Academy, a soccer performance and college guidance counseling program where he has helped hundreds of players use their soccer talent and academic commitment to make it, and succeed at the college level. As a highly respected youth soccer advisor, Jason has worked with some of the most talented youth players in American soccer. He has played key roles assisting players on their journey to the professional soccer ranks, including some of the youngest players to ever do so in US soccer history.
Jason holds an NSCAA/United Soccer Coaches Premier Diploma, Advanced National and National Diplomas, World Football Academy Football Fitness Periodization Certificate, NFHS High School Coaching Certification.
Diego Marroquin
Director of Coaching
Diego Marroquin is a native of Petaluma California, where he played for Petaluma High School. Later playing for Santa Rosa Junior College, before joining Sacramento State University. He has extensive playing and coaching experience at nearly every level. A professional and standout player for Des Moines Menace, Sacramento Gold and Sonoma County Sol. He currently coaches in the USL as Co-Head Coach of USL2 Marin Legends.
His most recent college coaching position led him to the Big Island of Hawaii as Head Coach of the men's soccer program at the University of Hawaii Hilo. Prior to his head coaching stint on the Big Island, Coach Marroquin led the Holy Names men's soccer program after nearly 10 years as a college Assistant Coach, including time Santa Rosa Junior College, Sacramento State University and five seasons with Dominican University of California.
Aside from his extensive college coaching experience, Coach Marroquin has coached youth soccer with clubs such as Union FC, Placer United ECNL and Marin FC ECNL. Aside from coaching soccer, Diego is a Professor of Kinesiology at the College of Marin. He holds a B.A. in Psychology and M.S. Coaching and Exercise Science. He is an accomplished Iron Man Triathlete and Ultra Marathon athlete. His soccer coaching certifications include working toward his UEFA B License (currently enrolled), a USSF C License, TOVO V1 Methodology, La Liga Formation Certification and United Soccer Coaches Advanced National Diploma.
